Hello There!

I'm Amelia!

I’m 21 years old and just recently got married to my best friend, moved a few hours away from my always known home and graduated from college.It's been crazy! I start all my days with the Lord, assisted by a warm brewed coffee with locally roasted beans. (The best combo!) I prefer any oat-milk creamer to assist my coffee but having it black is always good too.  I love any pasta, and am a huge fan of ice cream (despite being lactose sensitive). Also, big plant mom over here!! Currently have a total of 15 gorgeous house plants that keep me very busy and fill up my room!My Australian Shepherd, Hachiko is one of my best friends. He keeps me on my toes at all times! All seasons except winter are my favorite, as I enjoy being outside. I highly prefer a warm sunny day on a picnic or hiking! I am married to the most incredible man, who supports me and challenges me and pushes me closer to Christ. I’m sure you’ll read about him in a post or two.

 

January 24th, 2021 I gave my life to the Lord.   

Sitting in the basement of a church I had only attended a handful of times my college pastor stated '“being aware of God isn’t enough because even the enemy knows who he is.” Wow! Let me tell you, the Lord used that truth from her and spoke to me in a way I will never be able to explain. I drove to a park following service and decided I was going to follow Jesus rather than the ways of the world. Choosing to follow & love the Lord above all else will forever be the greatest decision of my life.​

Mission & Vision

After a seizure caused by stress in the middle of this summer, I felt more anxious than I ever had before. For days I felt distant from God, far from family and loved ones and alone. I continued to journal and spend time with God and found myself asking the question “why did this happen” almost everyday. The following Sunday during worship the Holy Spirit spoke so clearly to me and told me to use my heart for writing and journaling to share my testimony with others as well as what he has taught me and currently is teaching me.

 

This blog is entirely focused on assisting others and giving all the glory to God.So here’s to our journey of me stepping out of the way, and allowing the Holy Spirit to move. For us to connect, share, relate and grow with each other in Christ!
